
Katelyn McCoy, MA
Current Role
As a Senior Applied Research Associate, Katelyn McCoy designs and manages data collection tools for the evaluation of coaching and licensing products, like CCL Passport™. She also partners with our clients to conduct organizational research that boosts the impact of their leadership development initiatives and informs innovation at CCL and in the field. In her role, she often works cross-functionally, bringing together our expert designers, facilitators, coaches, operations managers, innovators, and leaders to enhance the efficacy and relevance of our leadership development offerings for leaders across the globe.
Experience
Katelyn’s expertise is in conducting research in organizations to address business needs. She has extensive experience in workforce data analytics, particularly in the areas of program evaluation, job analysis, and assessment development, and is an active member of the Society for Industrial-Organizational Psychology. At CCL, she has spent significant time partnering with the executive coaching line of business to reimagine how we deploy, evaluate, and scale coaching in organizations for greater impact.
Prior to joining us, she worked as a Research Scientist at the Human Resources Research Organization (HumRRO), where she partnered with clients to develop large-scale assessment solutions for use in higher education, employee selection, and certification. She also has experience studying leader behaviors that impact organizational resilience for the US Army, and investigating complex, large-scale collaboration efforts across a wide range of work environments.
Educational Background
Katelyn has an MA in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from George Mason University and a BS in Psychology from Louisiana State University.
