CCL Researchers Publish New Book on 360 Assessments

Benchmarks® for Managers™, a 360-degree assessment, has revolutionized the way organizations evaluate their managers. Introduced by the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL)® in 1987, it has become the gold standard in management assessment with over 21,000 organizations and 265,500 managers using it.

The development of Benchmarks for Managers was based on groundbreaking research that has since become foundational to the field of management / leadership research. Data collected through the administration of Benchmarks has resulted in large comprehensive databases that have been basis for numerous studies.

The Benchmarks® Sourcebook: 4 Decades of Related Research, authored by CCL researchers Jean Leslie, Michael Peterson, and John Fleenor, provides valuable insights into the latest trends and best practices in leadership assessment. Whether you’re an HR professional, a manager, or a coach, this edition is a must-read, as it contains the most up-to-date research and analysis on leadership assessment.

This new edition summarizes over 145 studies on a wide range of topics, providing valuable insights into cultural differences in leadership, emotions in the workplace, career derailment, race / ethnicity differences in leadership, gender differences, goal setting, learning from experience, mentoring / coaching, measurement issues with 360s, and rating differences among rater types.
