Section 508 & WCAG Conformity

Our Official Stance on Accessibility

At the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL)®, we’re committed to creating an accessible and supportive environment where all learners can participate and learn together. This includes work to provide web access, digital materials, and participant experiences that meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0AA), as well as improving accessibility of printed and displayed learning experiences.

We have carefully crafted our leadership programs and leadership development tools and leadership solutions and services so that they can be accessed and used by any and all participants, including those with disabilities.

Our organization’s strategy combines planning, research, training, and product development activities with our employees and third-party content partners. Specific initiatives include:

  • Creation of Accessible Products: We’re making efforts to have all new content and software meet applicable section 508 guidelines and best practices. To achieve this and continuously improve the accessibility of our products, we’re utilizing our internal product teams, engaging with external experts, and soliciting user feedback.
  • Community Inclusion: In addition to developing experiences that meet the recommended guidelines, we’re engaged with accessibility advocacy organizations, forums, and user groups in order to get confirmation that the software and content we produce is not only compliant but, more importantly, usable by participants.
  • Alternative Content: We recognize that we need to work closely with all of our clients as we progress toward our accessibility goal. In the event that alternative content formats are required, we evaluate the options and (whenever possible) provide the necessary content and accommodation.

If your accessibility needs are not being met, and how we might improve your experience, please contact us to let us know.
