Among thousands of international applicants, 3 leadership programs that the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL)® developed in partnership with clients have been honored by the research and advisory firm Brandon Hall Group through its 2025 Human Capital Management (HCM) Excellence Awards.

Our programs recognized this year were centered around building strategic, value-driven leadership across organizations, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and using real-world experiential learning to support leadership development.

CCL and Securitas, a security services company, were awarded a coveted Gold Award for excellence in the “Best Leadership Development Program” category. The Accelerate program was developed in partnership with us and was aimed at cultivating strong leaders and high-performing teams through collaboration, strengthening talent retention, and promoting an enterprise-wide innovation mindset. The 6-month immersive program involved our 360 assessments, immersion learning, executive coaching, and interactive virtual learning sessions.

First Citizens Bank and CCL were recognized with a Silver Award for excellence in the “Best Executive Development Program” category for our partnership in developing the Elevate program. This initiative was a multi-phase executive development journey designed to reinforce a strong leadership pipeline, improve alignment, and help leaders effectively manage cultural integration and change management at the organization. The program focused on both horizontal and vertical development and followed our 70/20/10 model.

Our partnership with Jerónimo Martins, a specialized retail and food distribution company, was awarded a Bronze Award for excellence in the “Best Leadership Development Program” category, recognizing the impact of its Leadership Academy. The “Be a Leader” programs are one of several initiatives within a growing learning ecosystem designed to elevate leadership across the organization. This ecosystem fosters self-awareness, strategic thinking, a culture of feedback, and readiness for future leadership challenges. Each learning journey combines formal assessments, leadership coaching, experiential learning, and peer-to-peer accountability.

A panel of independent senior industry experts, Brandon Hall analysts, and executives evaluated award entries for fit, design, functionality, innovation, and measurable benefits. Winners will be recognized at Brandon Hall Group’s HCM Excellence Conference later this year.

We are proud to partner with these clients on award-winning programs that are contributing to the important work of advancing leadership in workplaces around the world.

These client partnerships are among the many awards and accolades we’ve received from the Brandon Hall Group and others in recent years.

The Center for Creative Leadership (CCL)® is proud to announce that our Chief Information Officer, Fara Francis, has been named a 2025 ORBIE Award finalist by CapitalCIO, a top peer leadership network of capital area chief information officers. Francis has been recognized in the nonprofit category.

For over 20 years, the CapitalCIO ORBIE Awards have annually honored chief information officers who have demonstrated excellence in technology leadership and are driving innovation and transformation within their organizations. Per CapitalCIO, the award “represents the highest standard of achievement in the technology, security, and marketing industries, honoring leaders who embody strategic vision, management effectiveness, and a commitment to serving others.”

Since its inception, the ORBIE Awards have recognized more than 5,000 finalists and awarded over 800 leaders. Finalists and winners are selected by an independent peer review process led by prior award recipients. Nominees are evaluated on leadership and management effectiveness, business value created by their technology innovation, and their engagement in industry and community ventures.

“Being named a 2025 CapitalCIO ORBIE Award Finalist is a tremendous honor, reflecting the dedication and innovation of my entire Global Tech Team. I’m especially grateful for the steadfast support of CCL leadership, which empowers us to continuously leverage technology as a driving force behind our critical mission,” said Francis.

Since joining CCL in 2021, Francis has led several impactful initiatives that have significantly enhanced the alignment of the Global Technology Team’s focus and structure with the organization’s overall business strategy and priorities, resulting in improved efficiency.

The Center for Creative Leadership’s (CCL)® Chief Information Officer, Fara Francis, was selected as a featured panelist at the Info-Tech LIVE 2025 conference. The conference was held June 10–12 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Info-Tech’s annual live conferences bring together IT leaders, analysts, and experts from around the world to explore the capabilities, challenges, and opportunities that define the future of enterprise technology. The event also featured keynote speakers, breakout sessions, and peer networking opportunities. The 2025 conference was centered on connecting big-picture trends with actionable strategies and proven frameworks with the theme “Transform IT. Transform Everything.”

The Empowering Women in Leadership panel featured Francis and 2 other women in executive roles. A highlight of this year’s conference, the panel focused on creating an environment in the technology industry where women can thrive, make their own choices, and have equal opportunities in all aspects of life. Attendees walked away with an understanding that empowerment is not just about giving women a voice, but about ensuring that their voices are heard, respected, and acted upon.

Francis’ participation in the panel reinforces CCL’s legacy of trailblazing women’s leadership development since 1987 — conducting some of the earliest research on breaking the glass ceiling and pioneering leadership training for women.

“Our panel on Empowering Women in Leadership fostered a vital conversation, deeply exploring how to dismantle barriers, and cultivate truly impactful leadership styles,” said Francis. “It was particularly rewarding to enrich the discussion with CCL’s outstanding research, drawing on insights from our glass ceiling studies, and the transformative ‘standing at the crossroads’ framework, which provide a powerful roadmap for creating an environment where women truly thrive.”
